SISS (Shine Ink Supply System) for Epson is specially designed to utilize Ink Tank and Shelf Ink Tank as the ink buffer, and the ink will thus not flow into the internal cartridge, unless there is a demand from the printer in the form of head cleaning as well as print job. This is a special characteristic which the ordinary bottle infusion system lacks.

SISS for Epson is distinctively designed to apply special cartridge which is sponge-free and has a transparent body, and therefore it is easy for users to look inside the cartridge clearly and control the amount of the ink.
