SISS (Shine Ink Supply System) for Hewlett-Packard (HP) is specially designed to utilize Ink Tank and Shelf Ink Tank, so the ink will not flow into the internal cartridge unless there is a demand from the printer in the form of head cleaning as well as print job.

HP Printer implements cartridge which is merged with the print head. Furthermore, unlike printers of other vendors, HP printer is not equipped with a pump. Consequently, the ink might flow uninterruptedly if it is modified using the ordinary infusion system.

However, since SISS of Shine Ink utilizes Shelf Ink Tank and Ink Tank, it can prevent uncontrollable ink flow; hence, we can successfully install SISS on HP printer.
